Children's Chloraseptic benzocaine sprays are suitable for children over 6 years of age, supervised by an adult.
Active Ingredient: Benzocaine 0.71% w/v (1mg per spray), Also contains Ethanol, Macrogol 300, Propylene Glycol, Glycerol, Cetylpyridinium Chloride, Saccharin Sodium, Sodium Dihydrogen Phosphate Dihydrate, Sodium Hydroxide, Flavourings (Levomenthol, Blackcurrant), Purified Water
Children 6-12 years: Use only under adult supervision. Administer 1 spray to the back of the throat. Repeat every 2-3 hours up to a maximum of 8 doses per day.
Children over 6 years
Not Suitable for:
- children under the age of six
- Are pregnant or breast-feeding
- Have severe difficulty swallowing or have breathing issues
- Have a rare blood condition called methemoglobinemia
- Are allergic to benzocaine or related local anaesthetics.
