CALPOL® Infant Suspension provides soothing relief from pain and fever for your children, when they need it most. It starts to work on fever in just 15 minutes but is still gentle on delicate tummies. Trusted by parents for over 50 years,
CALPOL® Infant Suspension is gentle enough to use from 2 months. Each pack comes with an easy dose syringe.
Active ingredient: Paracetamol 120 mg per 5 ml. Other ingredients: Sucrose, Sorbitol Liquid (Non Crystallising) (E420), Glycerol, Xanthan Gum,Microcrystalline cellulose and carmellose sodium, Polysorbate 80, Acesulfame Potassium, Propyl Parahydroxybenzoate (E216), Ethyl Parahydroxybenzoate (E214), Strawberry Flavour 500018E (containing propylene glycol (E1520)), Methyl Parahydroxybenzoate (E218), Carmoisine (E122) and Purified water.
For the relief of fever after vaccination at 2, 3 and 4 months - read the enclosed leaflet.
For the relief of pain and other causes of fever:
Child's Age: 2-3 months: 2.5 ml - If necessary, after 4-6 hours, give a second 2.5 ml dose
Child's Age: 3-6 months: 2.5 ml, How often (in 24 hours): Up to 4 times
Child's Age: 6-24 months: 5 ml, How often (in 24 hours): Up to 4 times
Child's Age: 2-4 years: 7.5 ml (5 ml + 2.5 ml), How often (in 24 hours): Up to 4 times
Child's Age: 4-6 years: 10 ml (5 ml + 5 ml), How often (in 24 hours): Up to 4 times
babies and children aged from 2 months to 6 years weighing more than 4kg and not premature
Do not give more than 4 doses in any 24 hour period
Leave at least 4 hours between doses.
Do not use more than one product containing paracetamol at the same time.
Do not give this medicine to your child for more than 3 days without speaking to your doctor or pharmacist
