Although our anaesthetic throat sprays won’t treat your cold, they do provide relief from irritating sore throats. When a cold or cough strikes, use Ultra Chloraseptic Original Menthol to soothe your symptomatic sore throat – relief can be just a few sprays away. Always replace the child-safe protective cap after use.

Remove the protective cap, a child-safe feature designed to make the spray inaccessible to little hands, and twist the nozzle to the ‘on’ position. Then it’s three sprays to the back of the throat for adults and teens, and just one spray for children aged between six and 12. Hold your breath as you spray, and hold the nozzle just inside your mouth to ensure you’re targeting the source of pain. You can use your Ultra Chloraseptic spray to relieve pain every two to three hours, making sure not to use it more than eight times during any one day. Use your spray for up to a maximum of three consecutive days. If symptoms do not improve after three days use, see your doctor or pharmacist for advice.

Children unable to hold their breath while the spray is administered
People experiencing severe difficulty with swallowing
