Zovirax Cold Sore Cream is a clinically proven antiviral treatment for cold sores (herpes simplex virus). It contains Aciclovir, an active ingredient that helps speed up healing and reduce the duration of symptoms when applied at the first sign of a cold sore (such as tingling or itching). Start using at the first sign of a cold sore (tingling, redness, itching).
Wash hands before and after application.
Apply a thin layer of cream to the affected area 5 times a day, approximately every 4 hours (except overnight).
Continue use for 4 days. If the cold sore has not healed, treatment can be extended up to 10 days.
Do not exceed recommended usage and avoid touching or picking the cold sore.
