TCP Liquid is a multi-purpose antiseptic that helps prevent infection in minor cuts, grazes, and abrasions. Its active ingredient, phenol, provides antiseptic action to cleanse the wound, prevent bacterial growth, and promote healing. This liquid is also used as a gargle to soothe sore throats and mouth ulcers, delivering quick relief and protection.
TCP Liquid is not intended for consumption and does not have nutritional information since it is used for external application and as a gargle.
Active Ingredient: Phenol (also known as carbolic acid) 0.5% w/v
Inactive Ingredients: Water, alcohol, and other stabilizing agents.
For cuts and abrasions: Apply a small amount of TCP Liquid directly to the affected area with a cotton wool or clean cloth. Allow the liquid to dry before covering with a bandage if necessary.
For sore throats or mouth ulcers: Dilute the liquid with water (usually a ratio of 1 part TCP to 3 parts water) and gargle the solution for 30 seconds. Do not swallow.
For minor infections: Use as directed by your healthcare provider or according to the label instructions.
