Cut approximately 45cm (18 inches) of dental tape.
Wrap the ends around your middle fingers, leaving a few centimeters of tape for cleaning.
Gently glide the tape between teeth using a back-and-forth motion.
Curve the tape around each tooth and move it below the gumline.
Use a fresh section for each tooth and dispose of used tape properly.
