Neutrogena T/Gel Therapeutic Shampoo contains Neutar™ Solubilised Coal Tar extract, which effectively treats itchy, flaky scalp conditions. It is clinically proven to alleviate itching, reduce flakes, and calm redness. The shampoo is suitable for adults and children aged 12 years and over.
Active Ingredient: Neutar Solubilised Coal Tar Extract 20 mg/ml. Other Ingredients are:Macrogol Lauryl Ether (4), Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulphate, Cocodiethanolamide, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Imidazolidinyl Urea, Methyl Parahydroxybenzoate (E218), Propyl Parahydroxybenzoate (E216), Tetrasodium EDTA, Citric Acid Anhydrous, Perfume (contains Esters of Benzoic Acid, Benzyl Benzoate and Butylated Hydroxytoluene (E321)), Sodium Chloride, Purified Water
Wet hair thoroughly.
Apply a liberal amount of shampoo and massage into the scalp to form a rich lather.
Leave the lather on the scalp for several minutes.
Rinse and repeat the application once more.
Rinse thoroughly, avoiding contact with eyes.
Use two to three times a week for up to 6 weeks.
If there is no improvement after 6 weeks, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Avoid contact with eyes; if contact occurs, rinse eyes thoroughly with water.
Coal tar may cause your skin to react to sunlight after use; avoid direct sunlight immediately after use.
In rare cases, there may be temporary discoloration of grey, blonde, bleached, or tinted hair.
If irritation develops, discontinue use and consult a physician.
Do not use in children under 12 years old.
Do not use if you have had a bad reaction to coal tar or any ingredients in this product.
Do not use if you have inflamed or broken skin.
Do not use if you have a rare and severe form of psoriasis causing redness, inflammation, and blistering of the skin (erythrodermic or pustular psoriasis).
