Cleanse: Thoroughly clean the affected area with warm water; avoid using soap.
Application: Apply the cream directly to the affected area and gently rub in. For particularly tender areas, apply the cream on a piece of white lint or gauze and place it over the wound without rubbing.
Frequency: Use as needed, ensuring the area remains covered and protected.
Germolene Dual Action Antiseptic Cream is suitable for adults and children. However, individuals with known hypersensitivity to phenol, chlorhexidine digluconate, or any other components of the cream should avoid using it.
Allergic Reactions: Rare but serious allergic reactions, including anaphylaxis, have been reported with chlorhexidine-containing products. Discontinue use immediately and seek medical attention if symptoms such as wheezing, difficulty breathing, facial swelling, hives, severe rash, or shock occur.
Eye Contact: Avoid contact with eyes. If accidental contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical advice if irritation persists.
External Use Only: Do not ingest. If swallowed, seek medical attention promptly.
