This liquid formulation combines three active ingredients: sodium alginate, sodium bicarbonate, and calcium carbonate. Sodium alginate reacts with saliva and gastric acid to produce a viscous gel, which floats on the stomach contents, suppressing gastric reflux. Calcium carbonate and sodium bicarbonate have a gastric acid-neutralising effect. This dual-action approach helps alleviate discomfort associated with heartburn and indigestion.
