Benacort 64mg Nasal Spray can be used to prevent and relieve hay fever symptoms. Steroid nasal sprays are anti-inflammatory medicines that you spray into your nose. Benacort works against major hay fever symptoms, for continuous relief day and night.
Budesonide
Please read enclosed leaflet before use. Age: 18 years .
Dose: Once daily dosing: 128mcg into each nostril in the morning or 64mcg into each nostril if good effect is achieved. Twice daily dosing: 64mcg into each nostril morning and evening. The patient should be informed that the full effect of Benacort is not achieved until after a few days treatment.
Adults
Do not use: - continuously for more than one month without consulting your doctor - in children and adolescents under 18 years. - more than two sprays in each nostril in a day - if you are taking hiv medicines consult your doctor or pharmacist: - before use, if you are pregnant or breastfeeding - if your symptoms have not improved after using the spray for 7 days - you have tuberculosis (tb) a chest infection, chicken pox or measles or have been in contact with somebody who has tb, chicken pox or measles. Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
